Predefine Price Elements in Pricing SD

The price calculation scheme in sales orders (SD) based on the conditions technique offers many possibilities that are often “hidden” from users by the standard location of price conditions in the SD order item details. From the SAP_APPL 604 version, the functionality of Predefined Price Elements is available, which supports the visualization of price conditions. This functionality can be turned on in SD orders, not only during implementation but also at any other point in the life of the system. Although the functionality is not new, it is worth recalling it, especially that it is not often seen in SD orders.

In the standard version, in the SD order position, the user can see the rate, i.e. the net or gross price, depending on the assigned condition, and the net or gross value. However, between the rate and the value, many interesting things often happen that the user would like to see on the main screen of the SD order without clicking individually on each item, especially when there are many items and the rebate/discount system is extensive. The solution to this problem is the functionality of Predefined Price Elements. The short configuration allows not only to show the price conditions in the SD order items but also allows you to give your own column names.
